Literary Dating

A good man is hard to find. The wrong choice of mate could spell social and financial disaster. What's a girl to do?
In honor of Valentine's Day, Masterpiece (formerly Masterpiece Theatere) on PBS has created online dating profiles for each of the "Men of Austen." Who's a dream, who's a bore and who's a scoundrel? Click here to see online profiles for all of Jane Austen's suitors, from the leading men to the cads.

Hrm, wanting to retreat into novels eh? Instead of just drooling over a fictional guy, play along in the story itself!

Remember those choose your own adventure books? Some genius has made a choose your own Jane Austin Adventure. Check it out -(The one I saw in stores here has a way cooler cover -with a little mirror on it!) http://www.amazon.com/Lost-Austen-Create-Your-Adventure/dp/1594482586?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1187165511&sr=8-1

I've seen it. I think I bought it for Megan I. for her birthday. I looked @ it, but didn't read the whole thing. Yeah, the cover was pretty cool. I don't think changing Jane's stories is very nice (shame on you PBS), but it is fun! And kinda snarky!
